I have a lot of stuff in a lot of different codecs that I need to go out through the s-video out on my computer (Radeon 8500 or Matrox G450 dual head). Most of them don't show up at all though. I just get a black screen. I think it's some problem with the overlay. Anyone know how to fix this?

Have you the most up to date vid card drivers? Have you tried more than one application for playback? I use a Radeon for TV output and I have had no problems with this whatsoever. If one codec won't display, they all won't, and vice versa. What OS are you using? It may have something to do with your multiple vid cards in the system (i.e. presence of the Matrox may confuse the dual-head feature of the radeon) I know 98 was never very good about handling multiple video cards.
