Is it at all possible to burn DVD format into a CDR?
Not space-wise but just format-wise. To try to trick a DVD drive/player into thinking a CDR is actually a DVD disc.
I'm pretty sure it cant be done, but just in case Im wrong, I think its worth the stupid question.![]()

You can make a SVCD with a file that has 720x480 resolution video. However, my DVD player cannot handle 5 Mb/sec data rate from a CD-R. However, if you keep the data rate low, >3 Mb/sec, you should be fine. Check into miniDVD.

OH, ok. I hadn't seen the miniDVD/cDVD page. So, it looks like only 15 mins. will fit into it, eh? Ouch... Disappointing...
I guess I just cant escape having to buy a DVD writer.
