    Is the quality of the LIGOS mpeg-1 encoder equal to or better than the Tmpgenc encoder? I'm not so concerned of speed as I am quality the first time.

    I've found it to be lightning fast. And crap in quality. Probably good to rip cartoon DVDs to VCD but regular movies looked horrible on PC. I've never bothered to burn it onto CD, maybe I should've had...
    Anybody has any experience with Ligos folks?
