Problem with DVDStyler?

I have been getting a curious problem with DVDStyler lately. Maybe someone here can help me.

I have been trying to back up a couple of DVD's using Ripit4me, vob2mpg and DVDstyler. I have done this many times in the past (substituting DVD Fab when needed) and have had no problems. Lately, when I create the MPG file wiht Vob2mpg and bring it in to DVDStyler, DVDStyler shows the file as 2 to 4 minutes of 8 minutes total, even if the movie is 2 hrs long.

Case in point. Backing up my own copy of Jurassic Park -- 2hr 5 min. When compressed to 90% via DVDstrink, the resulting files total 4.2 GB. The MPG is 4.2 gb. The MPG plays ok using Media Player Classic. But, when the file is imported to DVDStyler, the 2 hr 5 min movie is only listed as 8 min. The resulting authored dvd does play fine in standalone DVD player. So, what is going on here?

Oh, If the size of the MPG is over 4.2 gb, DVDstyler shows it as 9 min of 8 min. total and will refuse to author.
