I see since the last time I tried to use multiAVCHD many months ago in taking high-def footage from my Samsung HMX-H205 camcorder and burn it to regular DVDs as an AVCHD DVD, in the newest version there's a new button available to me by the name of "Alter Detected Properties" that can be clicked on for each clip imported into multiAVCHD.
I'm confused as to whether I need to adjust the detect FPS of 59.94i within "Alter Detected Properties" or if I should leave it as 59.94i there and make this alteration of 59.94i to 29.97i via the "Transcode" button.
I'm having lots of difficulty with the footage I'm trying to get over to a regular DVD as an AVCHD DVD having the audio play about 4-5 seconds before it's supposed to... so basically the audio/video are not at all in sync.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. If I leave the fps at 59.94, then my video plays about twice the speed that it's supposed to in the resulting AVCHD DVD.
Thanks for any help!

you might try altering the clips to 29.97i, as that's what they most likely are. 59i is usually just a marketing term for 59.97 interlaced fields per second which is the exact same thing as 29.97 frames per second that we have always been using before. 2 fields = 1 frame in interlaced video.

I've already altered the 59.94i to 29.97i numerous times and that's where I'm getting the audio coming ahead of the video by about 4-5 seconds in the resulting AVCHD DVD.
Am I supposed to leave the 59.94i alone under "Alter Detected Properties" and just change it under "Transcode" to 29.97i?
