  1. i have got an iso image file of a video dvd. now i want to watch it in vlc or wmp. how can i do that?

    VLC has that option in the context menu when you R click on the ISO, 'Play with VLC media player'. If the ISO doesn't show the VLC icon, select 'Properties' and change the default player to VLC. This should only affect ISOs. WMP will probably want to burn it to a disc.

    DVD Fab has a virtual drive - you can mount it as a disc and play with your favorite DVD player.

    most external HDD Home Entertainment Media devices play ISO's, and on certain systems its the format of choice
