Honestech MPEG Encoder is this anygood!! The best ??

Does anyone know how good this encoder is as I have never heard of it before. :P

In a single word "***CRAP***" - It doesn't even come to 1/4 the quality of TMPEG, CCE, etc.

I purchased version 2.5 a little over six months ago, used it once, and threw it away!.

Then about a month ago, I get an E-MAIL from them with an upgrade offer for version 3.0.

And I wrote them asking why I had to pay, if I had purchased a version less than six months ago, and they hadn't even send me any updates or bug fixes!.

They replied that I had to pay an upgrade price for the new version.

So, down the toilet with this enconder + company.

Any descent company gives you at least a year of free upgrades+updates etc. when you buy something.
