Hi.
I have a DVD Player where I play avi movies from a USB stick. The strange thing is that I can't play any avi file which is written with AVI-Mux GUI application. The movie just plays for 7-8 seconds and then stops.
Any suggestion would be helpful.
Thank you !

I don't think it's AVI-Mux GUI, but maybe your settings (or default settings).

It could be a number of things, like your player doesn't recognize ODML AVI, or needs to be interleaved with audio every 1 frame, etc.

Go to Settings -> AVI file structure (under Output) and try different combos. I'm sure one can work.

My guess is your DVD players doesn't like the audio interleaving:

Interleave, duration : 24 ms (0.72 video frame) (doesn't play)

 vs.

Interleave, duration : 40 ms (1.00 video frame) (plays)

If Avi-Mux GUI supports "1-frame" interleaving try it.

Sounds weird, but has your player an "60 minutes" limit for xvid?? *** Now that you have read me, do some other things. ***
