Does ImgBurn not burn text files? Notepad, ect...

I always add a file to the VIDEO_TS folder called Info which is just a copy and paste from AnyDVD.

    For example:

Summary for drive E: (AnyDVD 6.7.1.0)
    Drive (Hardware) Region: 1
    Media is a DVD.
    Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 2076928 sectors (4056 MBytes)
Total size: 4125984 sectors (8058 MBytes)
Video DVD (or CD) label: TINKERBELL_GFR
    Media is CSS protected!
    Media is locked to region(s): 1 4!
    Video Standard: NTSC
Found & removed structural copy protection!
Found & removed invalid cell pieces!
Found & removed bogus title set(s)!
    Found & removed invalid VOBUs!
    RCE protection not found.
    UDF filesystem patched!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
    Removed CSS copy protection!
Found & removed 7 potential bad sector protections!
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

    CloneDVD 2.9.2.8

Just so I know what protections are removed and so forth. Is there a way to add that file to the burn disc? Evidently ImgBurn doesn't include that even though it's in the folder.

IMGBURN will burn folders in addition to the VIDEO_TS folder as long as there is available space on the dvd.

Create a folder seperate from the VIDEO_TS folder (EXTRAS or NOTES for example) and add your text file, along with any other files you woud like on the dvd. In IMGBURN, after you select your VIDEO_TS folder, select your additional folder and it will be included in the burn provided there is enough free space to include your additional folder.

Oh ok, see I just added the VIDEO_TS and thought it would add the notepad file. Didn't even think about adding an additional folder just for the text file.

  4. By default, it filters subfolders and non ifo/bup/vob files from the VIDEO_TS folder.

You could just add your txt file to the root of the disc, there's no need for an extra folder if you don't want it.

What do you mean to the root of the disc?

  6. The root is the root, it's the erm... let's call it a folder... that the VIDEO_TS folder lives in, the top-most level.

C:\ is the root of your hdd. C:\Windows is a subfolder of the root.

So you put the txt file alongside the VIDEO_TS folder, not IN it.
