Burning .ts files onto a DVD for viewing on a DVD Player

Hello, I have several interlaced .ts files I would like to be able to convert and burn them to a DVD. Other programs such as ConvertXtoDVD have not satisfied me since they deinterlace in a way which slows down the video from 30 frames(60 fields)/per second to just 30 frames per second. I would like to find a program which will be able to keep the fields intact so it looks how it should when played back on a DVD player.

Have you tried avstodvd or multiavchd? Both should do the conversion properly.

I tried multiavchd and I cannot find the file. Perhaps it failed. Here is the log:
