  1. Hello, dear all.

    I have one file in *.swf extension.

    ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swf

    I can open it using MPC or similar players. But, I have some problems to save /capture frames or static images using that programs.

    If I use Virtualdub ( for avi files) or MPC ( for avi files too) I can save frames /pictures from them.

    But with *.swf I got issues. :C

    Can you point me some tips to do what I trying to get?

    Thanks.

  2. Hi...

    I google it about my question and could found out that some programs can handle what I want: some flash decompilers.

    I could use one of them in trial mode ( before buy it ) and could do what I need.

    My tested program was: SWF Decompiler Magic

    ---> www.flashdecompiler.us ( this one works for me)

    I could find some other like this: SWF Decompile Expert, SWF Decompiler PremiumT and one freeware option: SWF Extractor Free

    ---> http://www.opendb.net/element/157.php#swf-extractor-free ( this one doesn't work for me - try it for your personal tests and needs )

    ---> http://www.opendb.net/category/26.php#SWF+Decompilers+%2F+SWF+Extractors

    Thanks.

    I think swftools is older than those all, and it's always been freeware.

    Another free one...

    SWF Extractor v1.1

    http://www.opendb.net/element/157.php

    EDIT: Sorry, already posted. That's the one I have. It won't do newer advanced SWF.

    Sothink SWF Decompiler for advanced SWF with objects. Expensive though. $79.99

    http://www.sothink.com/product/flashdecompiler/

    It breaks Flash down into its component parts, including sound, images, fonts, buttons, and action scripts. 30 day free trial. You won't find anything like this or the swf decompiler magic for free.
