help converting mpeg4 to avi

Hi

I'm in need of some help.

I have a storex which i watch all my movies on, but know i seem to be getting them in mpeg4, which my storex doesnt play. So i converted one to avi using Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter. The file was 1.3 gb as a mpeg4 but when converted to avi it is only 247mb. Which makes it far to small and impossible to watch.

Is there a better way of converting without losing quality.

Increase the bitrate for bigger file size and better quality.

Try something else if you can't do it in pazera, like xmedia recode, winff, etc. Convert to avi xvid.
