  1. Hello Guys,
i recently startet to backup my Bluray collection as .mkv files on my harddrive and came to a problem that i cannot solve:
I want to have multi-language videos with subtitles.
The first tries i did with Ripbotm which only gives me one language, so i added the other language-file afterwards with the MkvMergeGUI, which worked well. What didnt work was adding subtitles, neither with demuxing them with Ripbot and muxing them in with ripbot.. (you can choose a demuxed subtitle track there), nor with demuxing them mith mkvtoolnix, converting them to .sub and adding them with mkvmerge.
In both ways the subtitle-track exists in the complete movie but is empty, it does not show a single word. while converting from .sup to .sub i checked the subtitle-files and they were not empty at all.

I even tried to use MediaCoder, whit DID implement a subtitle-stream, but it forced the subtitles into the video and they were totally out of sync although the starting times within the subtitle-document i used were correct. (i checked them)
I already got subtitles during the 20th century fox logo and they even weren't the first subtitles in my movie.

Well I'm at my end I dont get it and i dont know what to try else. I just want a freaking subtitle track in my .mkv file is that too much to ask?
Please help with any idea you got.

    Thanks a lot, Yoven

sorry for any mistakes, english's not my mothers tounge

Blu-ray sup subtitles may not work with all players. Or are you converting them to sub/idx with bdsup2sub?
