So i have got Norton Internet Security 2011 with 293 days of subscription remaining and i was thinking about upgrading to Norton 360 v4 with 1 year subscription.
Question is if i upgrade now, will my 293 days of subscription remaining will be wasted and get replaced by 1 year of 360 v4 or will they be added like 293+365 days of subscription for 360?
any replies are appreciated.

afaik the new license will take over. your subscription will be for the new product only. nis is a good product again finally i'd stick with it. n360 doesn't add any protection, only pc tools you could get elsewhere.
for a real answer to the subscription question call or email norton support, they are the only ones that can really answer that.--

Yup i know calling the support is the best solution but i thought i will get a faster answer here, but if my 293 days subscription will get wasted then i ain't upgrading to 360 yet.

IMHO as was said above if you have 293 days left on NIS 2011 I'd run them out. Do you really need the features of N360? I always found that the backup was a nuisance. IOWs when customers computers come in with N360, it always shows errors since they never configure the backup function and the norton taskbar notifier shows red not green.
If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.
