I've watched and learned from this forum for a long time! Figured it was about time to get my butt in gear and join...
This may seem like a very stupid question because it seems kind of obvious to me but I keep second guessing myself so I'll just ask...
Most cams, if not all can be recording while they feed out of one of the video outputs no??
I want to record to have raw footage of that camera while it feeds out to a mixer as well...

	Everyone i have ever used has, you probably could have asked this in your other thread that is basically the same Q. 
 
 And what would you lose if you just tried it to find out ?
