Anyway, the movie I'm trying to convert to SVCD (it's a DivX file) is the 2 cd version of Goonies ala sharereactor.
TMPGEnc wont' recognize the audio, neither will VirtualDub, Windows Media Player will play it but can't tell me what the codec is so I can encode it. Notably, WinAMP won't play the audio file I simply extract (without converting) with Virtual Dub.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Medieval

Here's an off-the-wall thought.
If Media Player will play it, Avisynth might be able to frameserve it to VirtualDub or TEMPGne for encoding to whatever format you want to save it in.
I say this without ever having tried it. Would be interested to know if it works. Good luck! -
I figured it out.
Didn't work.. when I frameserv it with Avisynth it still doens't recognize the audio at all.
Maybe if I try to get all possible audio codecs, one of 'em might be it.
Isn't it strange that the codec is unrecognizable? Or is this normal?
