I've been trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong with FAVC. Every time I run it it makes a set of VOBs that I can't access because of an invalid IFO.
I'm running XP-SP3. I'm not a noob, but I haven't used this program before and cannot use it successfully. It hasn't been urgent because I have a dozen other methods that DO work, but I am taking it as a personal insult that I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Any thoughts?

Don't know what is causing your problem, however two solutions come to mind.
1. Create a new ifo with IFOEdit
2. Stop using FAVC, which has not been updated in a long time (and which had some very real problems with the final releases) and move to AVStoDVD instead. It uses HCEnc, but is actively maintained and supported (the author frequents these forums and answers questions directly), and because it is still actively worked on, uses the most recent (and faster) builds of HCEnc.Read my blog here.
