You can get Easeus Todo Backup for free also: http://www.todo-backup.com/download/ I like it better than Paragon. It's similar in structure to Acronis 9.0 versions.

Whatever backup software you like best do use it often. I like to try new software . I always back-up the system partition first so it is easy , and often quicker to restore after a doubtful installation. I happen to prefer the full Paragon disc manager but any of its competitors will probably be just as effective.

Today i instaled Backup & Recovery 2010 Free Advanced just to test it, and i did a system backup, it looks ok, but i havent test it for restoring the backup.
I have used "acronis true image 2009" many times, and the restoring part worked every time i did it.

I've been using Paragon for at least 5 years now -- excellent.
    I bought/upgraded and use version 9 currently.
