I have a special need for capturing video

Basically, I need to capture video from a cheap Sony digital video camera, but need to see it full screen upon capture, not in the little preview screen I have now on Studio HD Ultimate 14 (pinacle). Right now, I can only watch the standard size tiny window whilst capturing video. I am using PC, on a laptop, using a Dazzle input card since I don't have a firewire on the camera.

If someone knows of a program I can see full screen upon capture, and just be able to get stills as needed off the full motion video after capture that would be great.

Not clear what format you are editing. What camcorder? No Firewire on the camera?

Regardless, the normal way to monitor full screen is to a TV set via camcorder analog output.
