My trial has expired, but I thought you could still use DVDFab HD Decrypter to backup a DVD.

It supposed to let you rip the full disc, but it wouldn't start. I don't remember the exact message, so I just uninstalled the whole application. Then re-install, but choose this link.
    DVDFab HD Decrypter8.0.0.5
I install it and the whole application re-installed, but the trial was reset? Why? Anyhow, I got another 30 days so weird.

I got away with doing one, but now it goes back to the same screen. Full Disc feature apparently is not free? Oh well!

I haven't used DVDFab in a while but judging by your screenshot....since you are "ripping" a DVD....shouldn't you be in the DVD Ripper portion of the program?

The DVD Ripper section is actually to encode a DVD to AVI/MKV etc...

Ahh....I see that now. Just downloaded it.
So at least now we know who is guilty of confusing people with the terms "Rip" and "Convert"...it's DVDFab.
As if this program is not confusing enough...they are also screwing up the terminology.
