Missing Device Controll in Log and Capture (fcp)

Hi!

Im going to do live capture from final cut.

I went to capture now
switched to Capture Settings-tab

but the Device controll menu is not there. I was going to choose "non controllable device" but the only thing thats in the Device controll is the possible to choose scratch disc.

where did my DEVICE CONTROLL go? how can I get this option back or is it done in another way in FCP7 than in FCP6??? pretty sure though it was there before

heres a picture what Im missing. I only got the device control and Capture/input doesnt exist. only the scratch disks meny. why?
