  1. Good evening,

Someone must have experienced this. I have made some HD videos with my brand new Casio FH100 digital camera. The sound was not that loud but with good recommendations from here I was able to amp it up using AVIdemux. As the volume was then louder, I noticed a lot of hissing air-like noise. I saw that AVIdemux has noise filters and tried to use Cnr2, Denoise, Mplayer denoise3d, Mplayer hqdn3d but so far I don't sense much results. I am next going to try to play it on a TV Set to see if maybe the computer or the moniter speakers have something to do with it.

Is there some special noise filter or program I should use to get rid of that hissing air sound.

The noise filters that you are referring to are for video noise, not audio. That is why you can hear a difference.

You will have to demux the audio, then load it into something like Audacity. You can then use EQ filters to remove the hiss.
