I just tried making a avchd dvdr for my ps3 from a 720p60fps clip from a kodak zi8.

I was able to play the full 20 second clip on the dvdr but I only got audio no video.

Is 60fps outside of the avchd spec?

    ---------------------------------------------

I don't have a bluray burner and I don't plan on investing in one right away. I was going to settle on this format as it seems to have the most potential but how much will I lose upon converting to 30fps?

    -------------------------------------------------

Will the wdtv media player gen 1 play 720p60fps unaltered?

I had popped the h264 mov file into multiavchd and it created the avchd without any type of warning flag. Should it have? Did I miss a setting?

    EDIT

This is strange. I was able to do a successful burn with arcsoft total media extreme that came with my hauppuage hd pvr.

It turns out I was not able to watch video on either a 30fps nor 60fps encode with multiavchd. I am not sure why.

But I was able to make a perfect avchd with both 30fps and 60fps with arcsoft. But I can now do what I need.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
