Wondering how VideoCD 2.0 varies from standard VCD. I recently created 2 different video cd's for a friend. The first wast an AVI file that was encoded to VCD NTSC format via TMPGenc. The result file was then burned to a CD-R through VideoCD Creator (Adaptec / Roxio).
The result VCD played fine on the Sony DVD player (Not sure what model he has. Was purchased a few months ago so it's pretty current).
The next VideoCD was created using Uleads DVD PictureShow. I noticed the software had mentioned something about VideCD 2.0. Was wondering what the difference was because the resulting video was unplayable on the same DVD player. Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.
