    Hi,

    I was trying to write and describe what I have been trying to do but luckily i found a video that has already done it. Basically i am trying to accomplish the same text effect as this video in the link does at the start.

  2. If you're referring to the text overlay, where colors are inverted, it's usually done with layer blending modes

    If you're familiar with photoshop or after effects, they probably used something like "difference" mode . Most NLE's will have layer blending modes, sometimes they are called something slightly different like "compositing mode"

    OK i see it. In FCP just right click on the clip/text in the time-line and compositing mode is right that. Thanks for the right direction !
