  1. Hi thanks to yourselves on the forum i had great success with editing all my mp4 files to the same aspect ratio so they all merge nicely using avidemux, (I have hundreds of small mp4 clips i want to merge into different video's 30 mins long)

The problem i have is that on my latest one someone is talking on a clip with a different video scene come up too soon, excuse my lack of knowledge in this but do i have to edit something else first in avidemux like the audio channels or framerate so that they all appear and speak in tandom.

Maybe there is a program that does just the job that i am not aware of?

I have successfully edited all the clips to 1980x1080 so far and they all merge without a hitch.

This is a very common problem when editing video, usually video with mp3 or aac VBR audio.

Does the sync get worse and worse / progressive sync problem? If not you might be able to adjust the sync in avidemux under audio -> shift and try different values.

  3. thanks for replying mate, i tried something and it worked! Only one video in the video's i was trying to merge had a different frames per second (30) compared to the others 15. I edited it to 15 in avidemux and merged them and voila, happy bunny!

    Cheers
