I'm ripping a large number of DVD's so I can stream them to my XBox360 using TVersity.
However about 30% of the time the video will fail to open when a .srt file is present (if I remove the .srt the video plays fine).
I have looked at .srt's that work and those that don't in Notepad and all are saved as ANSI.
I'm totally stumped at why these .srt files stop the videos from loading.
Please find attached examples of subtitles that do, and don't work. Ugetsu Monogatari works, Shinjuku Triad Society does not.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew
P.S. Those files I have problems with are actually playable (with visible subtitles) in the DivX Player.
