  1. I've made som VCD's which I wanted to play on my standalone DVD player.

My problem is though, that the audio is working fine, but I only get a black screen. If I however FF the movie I can see the picture. If i press play i kinda only get still pictures which jump forward now and then (10-20 sec jumps). If I stop the movie and press resume again it's back to sound with black picture.

Any one who knows what I am doing wrong?

    Thx in advance guys
    JONI

P.S. I am using VCDEasy. Medium is CD-R80. DVD player is a Nintaus (it is able to play VCD among others - VCDs made buy others than me that is...d'oh ;o)

  2. JONI,
I've been experiencing the same problem. I have had success in the past using TMPGen for encoding(avi to Mpg1) however I've just upgraded to the new version and can't seem to get the settings correct. Furthermore the old version of TMPGen doesn't seem to work now. Just hoping someone help us. Don't give up! JD
