    How can I delete existing subtitles in a AVI video using ffmpeg?
    Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

    Burned in subtitles that you can't disable when you play it ? Then no.

    If the video has black bars on the top and bottom.. and the subtitles are on the black bar, then you can "delete" them adding another black bar on top of it.

    Thanks for replying. Subtitles not on black bar, if I Ioad other subs, both show up. Is there another way, using some other software?
