Media Player Classic Error

Hi everyone,

I have a problem on my sister new computer running Windows 7. I try to use MPC-HC with the latest FFdshow but all I got is a windows error box:

''Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application''

What should I do ? Thanks in advance.

32 bit Windows or 64 bit Windows? 32 bit MPCHC or 64 bit MPCHC? Do you get the error during installation or when starting the program. If the latter, do you get the error when starting the program from the Start menu as well as by double clicking on a video?

1. x86 Windows & MPCHC.

Make sure you have installed the latest DirectX end-user runtime version 9.29.1962 (2010.06.07). And yes, even on Windows 7 you need it and anyway it is required for MPC-HC to run properly.
