I don't really follow your question, as phrased. The player's optical drive will play (locally) a DVD or Blu-Ray disc. Presumably you are referring to streaming ? This feature (e.g., for Netflix) came in with some Blu-Ray player models from Panasonic and Samsung, and seems to be becoming more common. I don't know of any way to play an actual disc to the player from some remote location, using the Wi-Fi. What you can do is set up the built-in networking feature from the player to your router, which involves certain steps depending on the Wi-Fi security for your wireless router, and then "registering" your Netflix account for streaming to the player / location. Other streaming services will have other procedures, but having the proper wireless access to your router will remain a constant.

If that is not what you meant, please give a lot more detail in your question.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.

So the Network or Wi-Fi in a Blu-DVD player is primarily just for streaming movies online, correct? Do you know whether a Wi-Fi Blu-ray DVD player can play videos or dvd movies from a PC with build-in Wi-Fi, by the way?

    Depends.

If you have a wireless router then most likely yes. You would also need some streaming software (TVservity, PS3MS, WMP under Windows 7). You will be limited by the bandwidth, so you might not be able to stream HD material.

If you just have a laptop with built-in wireless then it will depend on whether or not you can configure that wireless to act as an access point. Some can, some cannot.

Based on your recent posts here, I have to conclude that you just don't believe in ever looking at the manuals that come with your players.

Actually I have not bought but searching a Blu-ray DVD player. Your research is just waste of your time, isn’t it?

Quite a few electronic devices such as BD players have downloadable manuals you can get from the manufacturer. Look under 'Support'.
