I have a Geniatech One Touch Grabber, which I've used for years, although the last time was months ago. I went to use it today (through RCA connection to VCR/DVD), and I can't get video. I reinstalled the driver and the software. I switched USB ports, nothing. It's just been sitting in a drawer since it's last use, so it doesn't seem like it would just stop working. BTW, I can play videos through the software, so it's definitely a hardware issue. Any suggestions?
Added 9/9/2010: Turns out it was a software issue after all. It worked fine in Movie Maker. In fact, I discovered it was working in capture mode, although there was no picture. So, I can use MM to determine parameters, reset, and then use the Grabber software for capturing (to get much better quality)
