how to get the summary of a video file when we point to it by the mouse?

when we point to a video file, especially mp4 file i used to get the summary of it such as video size(720*576),4:3,3759 kbps, and the details of audio stream also such as ac3 128 kbps. but after formatting my system, recently, i do not get it. how can i get these information? yes if you go to mediainfo we will get all the details. but pointing to the video file how can i get the primary infomations such as the video size, video bitrate, audio used etc? thanks.

Install mediainfo. Open mediainfo and click on Options->Preferences (alt P). Make sure that Shell Info Tip is ticked. Click OK.
