  1. I Just finished hardcoding an mkv file. I wanted to put it on my Cowon v5 but the file won't play since it requires you to manually choose a program to open it. I was also unable to even have the option of setting a default program for the file. Someone please help.

    NOTE: I use windows 7 so the icon of the hardcoded mkv file appears white and blank.

    Install The KM Player, which should be able to play mkv files happily. Or install FFDShow and the Haali splitter so Windows Media Player can play them.

    Neither should be necessary to copy the file to your player however.
