Has ConvertXBatch been banned?

After Googling for either version 1.5 or 2.0, I notice that ConvertXBatch has been removed or fails to download, even at the torrent sites. I read somewhere that the developer of VSO recommends the app.

So even if you create your own AVIs, with VSO's ConvertXtoDVD there is no way to batch convert your home-made videos. If this is the case, is there another app I could buy that supports batch conversion? I'm thinking of investing in Adobe Premiere but am not sure if it offers the batch processing feature.
