Hello all, this is my first post on here because I've just recently started to get my feet wet in video editing. I'm currently putting together a video montage (all are .WMV files). My question is how do I capture only the audio from a particular video clip bc I want to overlay this audio on top of a different video. Is there an audio capturing software (preferably free) out there that I need to use or is this capability in my editing program. I'm using cyberlink's powerdirector 8. Thank you in advance!

powerdirector should demux the video when you put it on the timeline. then you could save-as or render to whatever format you want the audio in.
