  1. Newbie here

I would like to extract clips from DVD and compile the clips into a new DVD, and do this without any re-encoding.

I used DVDFab decryptor to rip the DVD and MPG2Cut2 to extract the clips into mpg2 files. Both are free software and work well.

But how do I compile the mpg2 files into a new DVD? Years ago I had bought Ulead DVD Factory and Nero but both say that they can not process AC3 audio and Nero even insists on re-encoding the video.

Shouldn't the mpg2 files be already DVD compliant? If not then how do I make them so?

Any help to compile the mpg2s into a DVD would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Try GuiForDVDAuthor, DVDStyler or DVD Flick(in dvd flick be sure to select to not convert compliant mpg streams).

  3. I still use DVD MovieFactory 4.0. It handles AC3 audio.
