Well i am afriad its impossible!!! However i reccommend trying svcd. svcd means:
    no blocks
    only around 2 cds
very very close to dvd quailty (u wont be able to tell the difference!!!)
encoding times arent bad. ( i reccomend 2 pass + vaf)

So if ure dvd player can play it i reccommend going for it as i am still annoyed i started my movie collection with vcd when svcd looks so so good. (but vcd isn't that bad (svhs quailty)).

So try dvd2svcd located at www.doom9.org and i think u will be surprised!!

Well, CCE VBR encoding requires a .vaf file. That's the holy grail of CCE SP. And yes, I am able to see the difference.

My methods are for vcd which is still pretty good. However cce with a pinch of temporal smoother is so so good its unbelieveible. The quailty ain't the same as dvd but it's pretty dam close. I am posting this info here as i started using vcd but when tried puting a few high res avi's into cce and usin mpeg2 vbr i was amazed!! I started using dvd2svcd which is an unbelieveible programme but is too slow for me so i now use an avs file dvd2svcd and someother prog for the audio.

Something just came into my head... Will cce read vobs directly?!?!?!? If it did than i would just have to lad the vobs in!!!!! That would be great!! Well i am off to try that now and hope this info is helpful to someone.
