I recently purchased a top film from Amazon.co.uk. Wont name film but its a remake id the early 70's ape films...i wish to make a svcd backup so i dont have to use the dvd. When i ripped the DVD using DVDdecrypter ans Smart Ripper the vob files have a video and audio commentery box overlaid over them...ant ideas how to remove this.??
Its most annoying to say the least..
Regards...

If you ripped in movie mode the .vob contain all audio tracks. You want to convert the .vob to MPEG (SVCD). Next step is to frameserve to your favorite MPEG encoder with dvd2avi. Select an audio track in dvd2avi.
