  1. Over the years I've created numerous DVD's from family videos with chapters separating the various elements on each DVD.

For a relatives Wedding I would like extract various elements from the collection of DVD's and then essentially join them together to form a new DVD compilation.

What would the best method be to achieve this.

I know how to rip the individual chapters from a DVD to get individual VOB files but not sure of the best way to stitch them together and retain the ability for each element to be it's own chapter for easy DVD navigation.

    Thanks to all

Tmpgenc authoring works. It can both rip and join from dvds.

If you are looking for a free solution you can use dvd shrink in the reauthoring mode to rip and join from separate dvds/vobs. But no menus, etc then. You could also try a free authoring app like guifordvdauthor, dvdstyler and try stitch separate vobs together with menus, chapters.
