  1. First off, I appreciate any help, so thank you in advance.

I was given a VCD split up as 50 some odd winrar files - I used Winrar to get the bin and cue - then I used Fireburner to get an ISO and ISOBuster to get the mpeg. From TMPGEnc to Windows Media Encoder to Real Producer to Virtual Dub to you name it - nothing will accept this mpeg - the only program that takes it is Flaskmpeg and whenever I try to encode to Divx, the audio and video is out of synch.

I have tried using VCDGear to convert the Bin/Cue directly to an mpeg and the same problems - hardly any program will take the mpeg, and the few that do (terran media cleaner 5, flaskmpeg, etc.) yield an mpeg or avi with the audio and video out of synch.

Now I wanted to make this a vcd but its too large to fit on any of my cd's so i figured I would encode to an mpeg, make it smaller - or encode to divx then make it smaller - somehow make it smaller then try to put it on CD then - but no matter what I try, the audio and video are always out of synch.

the audio and video are fine in the original Mpeg - its just when I try to do something with the mpeg that it goes out of synch. the original mpeg is too big to fit on a CD, otherwise I would be fine.

I had the same issue. Eitherr frameserve it with Vdub (one of the few programs to take it I'd bet), or I actually ended up re-encdoing the clips as an avi (hufyuv Vid by PCM 44100 x 16 st Aud) uncompressed avi. Then loaded it into TMPG and re-encoded to great results. On the straight frameserve I had a/v synch issues.

    For frameserving see here.

    Hold on...

If you have a bin and cue file, you need to burn it with CDRWIN... Job done.

I think it would be a lot easier to get a copy of that, than all the hard work you have put in.
