  1. Hi! Is there a program that forces Microsoft Explorer to show a custom thumbnail in video files by choosing a specific frame? ( I mean the icon preview in video files)
    I have a lot of video files and I i would like to personalize thier preview icons /thumnails witch I see in a explorer video folder in thumbnail view.

  2. I've found a software: "Microsoft Expression Encoder" that makes it possible only with .wmv and .mp4.
    Means that there must be a solution for other types of video files...

    Aren't those thumbnails just stored in a' thumbs.db' file inside the containing folder? If so, should be easy enough to write something that reads the file and lets you overwrite one of the thumbnails...
