    Extract the content from the iso and use a video converter....

    ISO is a disc format. It can hold anything - Word documents, PDF files, JPG photos and so on. So that's why you have to extract the video first and then convert what you extract. There are plenty of ISO images out there that have nothing to do with video.

    Mount the ISO image with Daemon Tools. Use whatever DVD to MP4 converter you want.
