hey all, i am having trouble getting my manual focus to focus on only one part of the shot. for example, i'll have a focus point very close to the camera, and something i want to manually focus over to further away. why is it whenever i try to do this everything goes blurry at once? i've tried changing the F setting for my aperture and nothing really changed. any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Small aperture (big hole), and between focal lengths of subjects. That's my guess.
Would need to see samples to be sure.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Thanks for the reply. Could you elaborate as to what you mean by between focal lengths a bit? I also, I maybe should have mentioned I had a qide angle lens attached when doing this. Would that affect the effect at all?
