  1. It don't really matter what people talk about anyway.Every conversation will throw other elements into the mix anyway...It's human nature.
How often do you start talking to someone you know,be it at school, work or down at the pub with your mates and talk constantly for 2 1/2 hours and cover just about every subject under the sun before getting to the end of what you actually started talking about....

It's not as if this thread was an absoloutely serious subject anyway.

    the3rdlevel,

Question was originally asked by d4n13l:
"...and to set the record straight, have you lived as a man, and as a women? That is the only way that I can determine how you have lived on both sides of the fence. Whats the deal dude?"

  7. i shall clarify. I am a 26 year old male to female transsexual. what this means is that i used to live as a man for the first 23 years of my life. at 23 i started taking estradiol(already discussed) and spironolactone(not a hormon but a diuretic that also happens to block the bodies production of testosterone). This form of drug therapy is known as Hormone Replacement Therapy and is used to induce the secondary sexual characteristics of a female(breasts start to grow, fat is redistibuted more to the hips and ass and loss of muscle tone) these changes happen slowly. i know live as a female fulltime and am subjected to the same prejudices females experience everyday in there dealings with men.

    Does this answer your question?

    Peace

  9. John,

if you are actually curious about this i will answer any and all questions.
as to why, i always felt very different on the inside and was very unhappy. my thoughts and feelings always seemed to be more in line with a females, and all was fine until the age of 10 or 11 when boys are expected to start acting more like wild young boys, well that didn't happen here and that is when i realised i was a lot more different on the inside that i had previously though. unfortunatly it wasn't until i discovered the net in '95 that i learned something could actually be done about it. so i started the needed changes(saw a shrink, saw an endo for the scripts, and started telling my family). it's hard at times but that doesn't stop me especially with the support of my girlfriend(who was shocked and weirded out about the thought of being with a woman at first, but has since adjusted)

a better answer to the question of why would be:better this than going postal later on cause i'm unhappy with myself

if you have any more questions i would be glad to answer them or point you to web sites with more info.

    Peace

So like how did your parents take it?
Your girlfriend, was she with you before you decided to change your sex, as well as now?
And what about children, did you keep some sperm or something before you started taking the drugs?
I hope you dont mind me asking questions, I have never had the opportunity to speak to a transexual before. To be totally honest, a few years ago I would have called you a freak (hey, I was a teenager... being immature was part of the deal =), but since the last few years my attitudes to people that choose to live differently have changed. Now I am just like WTF; people have the right to do whatever they want (within the bounds that they dont hurt others). Nowadays I am more able to empathize with people, I want to understand instead of shying away and prejudging. If I found out if one of my friends wanted to do the same, I wouldnt treat them any differently. I expect that you have come across a lot of prejudicial people, how do you find other people treat you after they find out what you have done? Whats the ratio of people of those who dont treat you any differently, to those who do? And (finally) your friends, your 'old' friends, do you still have most of them?
