    please define "best":
    - quality of result
    - processing speed
    - easy to use
    - what else ?
(I'm quite content with ULEAD Mediastudio: good results, not so good speed - overnight processing, and ver easy to use)

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

:P I assume that DVDCutter is a not bad choice, it has a lot of additional functions, you can download it from www.jummpa.com

  6. I use M2 Edit Pro 4.0 and Womble MPEGVCR 3.11
M2 has better results cutting on the exact frame.
Doesn't work on 3:2 pulldown films unless you remove the 3:2 pulldown and put it back to 24fps.
I use PULLDOWN.EXE to remove 3:2 pulldown, cut the video, then use PULLDOWN.EXE to put it back to 30fps for the SVCD spec so NERO can burn it.
