You'll have to burn the bin/cue image created by DVD2SVCD. However, bin/cue support for Nero came only in version 5.5.6.4 (if I remember correctly), so you have to update your Nero first if you want to burn the images with Nero.

You can burn the image also using CDRWin or CDRDao (freeware). Another method claimed to be foolproof is to use Daemontools and Nero together, making a CD-to-CD copy with Nero using the Damon tools virtual CD drive as the source CD (Details on www.doom9.org forum, DVD2SVCD Basic section)

  3. When I use DVD2SVCD I get mpg files as well as BIN/CUE files. I just use nero's SVCD option and drag and drop the mpgs in. Works fine for me. Now I just check the "dont make images" uder the CD image tab.

    To joda1:

If you just burn the3 mpgs with Nero you won't have chapters. Chapters are essiential for my as my player has problems with REW/FF when the SVCD is longer than 40 minutes. I also had problems with SVCD subs when burning with Nero.
