    I have a Philips DVDR 3590H/97. It worked beautifully for 2 years. Then had disc door not opening. Service center sorted out disc door, but when I tried to use it again, it started to shut down every 2 hours. Tried to record a movie and then it started to hang badly as it had shut down again in the middle of the recording. Now it is hanging so bad, I cant access any of the menus. It just gets stuck with BROWSER in the display. Help> What does this mean, is the hard disc drive dead, does it need to be changed? How do I sort this out. The service center guys dont seem to have a clue.

    Please Help!!!!!

    Please help!! Cant seem to resolve the issue. Cant use my recorder at all!!
