how to insert date and time into the MOD file?

Does anyone know how to insert date and time into the MOD file?
On the camera's screen (JVC) the date and time appear, but when you move the file to your computer, you can not see them.

if this is a consumer cam you are probably out of luck. the date/time info is stored in a separate files in the camera, but is not in the video file at all.
