DELL 5100MP stream on LAN

Hi Everyone,

I would appreciate your help with the following, and if its possible.

I have a DELL 500mp projector with a rj45 lan point, what i want to know is if its possible to stream to this projector?

How do i push another PC display to it using the LAN connectivity, i have tried the DELL forum and GOOGLE without no luck, any help will be most appreciated.

Information from Dell about this projector seems to be lacking. I would plug it in to a computer or router and see if it shows up as a LAN device and has a menu or something availabe. I may be wrong, but unless it has a video processor on board, it doesn't seem likely that it can convert the LAN signal to video. Maybe that LAN connection is just for remote control.

But others here may be more familiar with it.

From what i could gather It seems the LAN connectivity is only for network "manageability", which somes it to checking the projector status,restart or shutdown, nothing on streaming, thats sucks if you ask me.

Actually i have been visiting the video-help site for as long as i could remember for all my video conversion needs don't know why it took me this long to register.

But i'm here to stay, Gr8 site.
